The mid-size SUV still comes in three trim levels—exactly the same number as the 2025 model—but the spec sheet has been shuffled rather than stretched.
Outside, the facelift you were expecting never arrives. Buyers still pick between the sober “Standard” face and the racier R-Line pack (unique bumpers, side skirts, black accents and tiny “R” badges scattered around the bodywork). VW has dropped the old “Glitter Pink” paint and slipped a new “Laser White” pearl into the palette; 19-inch and 20-inch wheels have been added to the option list and digital-key tech can now be ticked for any version.
Inside, the dashboard triad remains: 10.3-inch digital cluster, 15-inch floating centre screen and column-mounted shift lever. Step past the base model and an 11.6-inch passenger entertainment display drops in front of the glove-box. R-Line seats pick up blue contrast stitching plus an embroidered “R” logo, but the big story is what has disappeared.
Entry-level “Zhixing” loses head-up display, dash cam, AR real-world navigation, C-V2X and the in-cabin safety camera; the passenger seat drops from 12-way to 10-way power adjustment.
Mid-spec “R-Line Zhiling” keeps the dash cam and AR nav only as paid options, ditches the “Cool Black” styling pack and likewise swaps to a 10-way seat—yet adds ventilated and 10-point massaging front chairs.
Top-spec “R-Line Zhizun” carries over its luxury kit, but now fits facial recognition as standard.
Both upper trims inherit VW’s latest IQ.Pilot assisted-driving stack: highway pilot, on/off-ramp execution, large-radius cornering, auto lane-change and suggested overtaking on mapped expressways.
Power is untouched: a 162 kW (220 hp) 2.0-litre high-output turbo paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch box; 4Motion all-wheel drive is reserved for the flagship.
Rokay is already accepting export enquiries for the 2026 Tiguan L Pro and can lock in homologation, shipping and customs clearance for any of the three trims.
