2026 Chengdu Auto Show: New Rugged SUV with HarmonySpace 5 & Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 Pro | Rokay Car Export

The 2026 Chengdu Auto Show officially kicked off on August 21. At this Chengdu Auto Show, the new #pvareaid=6867404 made its official market debut. There are not many changes to the overall exterior design of the new model, yet it is equipped with the HarmonySpace 5 smart cockpit and Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 Pro driving‑assistance system.

In terms of exterior styling, the new vehicle retains the boxy silhouette of a rugged SUV. Straight and sharp body lines sustain its tough off‑road presence. The intricately‑styled front grille pairs with a heavy‑duty front bumper, complemented by C‑shaped front LED light units, delivering high visual recognizability. Additionally, five body paint options are available: Atomic Grey, Blaze Yellow, Star Diamond Black, Crystal Stone Green and Starry White.

On the side profile, flared wide‑body wheel arches and roof rails are retained. The most notable update replaces the former pop‑out hidden door handles with mechanical door handles to boost reliability under low‑temperature conditions. At the rear, the side‑swing tailgate is carried over, fitted with an external spare‑tire decorative cover. Body dimensions remain 5125×2025×1895 mm with a wheelbase of 2880 mm. Besides, roof spotlights and off‑road expansion kits are now optional extras and no longer come as factory‑fitted standard equipment.

The overall interior layout stays largely consistent with the current‑generation model. Optimizations focus on details within the central‑control area: the shift mechanism and cup holders have been re‑arranged, and storage space for mobile phones has been enlarged. Physical air‑conditioning buttons are kept for convenient blind‑operation usability. Three interior color themes are offered: Dawn Orange, Mocha Brown and Star Glow Black. Ergonomically‑designed seats support multiple comfort functions. The rear‑seat backrest can be nearly flattened to expand in‑car rest space. Multiple storage spots are distributed throughout the cabin, and vehicle‑to‑load external discharge is supported to suit camping scenarios.

The cockpit system represents the core upgrade for this facelift. Fitted with HarmonySpace 5 built on the MoLA hybrid large‑model Agent architecture, the system shifts from passive command response to proactive service delivery. It supports recognition of mixed‑speech across 10 Chinese dialects for continuous natural voice interaction. The newly‑added Navigation Agent enables route planning via vague voice commands, with automatic route adjustment when changing destinations mid‑journey. A 3D smart control desktop simplifies menu hierarchies. Seamless cross‑device continuity is available between mobile phones and the vehicle infotainment system for navigation and applications. Huawei ecosystem devices support super‑terminal interconnection, and over‑the‑air (OTA) updates enable continuous vehicle‑system iteration.

For intelligent driving, the new model adopts Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 Pro built upon the WEWA 2.0 end‑to‑end AI architecture. The vehicle is furnished with 27 high‑perception sensors, including one in‑cabin LiDAR, three 4D millimeter‑wave radars, eleven high‑definition cameras and twelve ultrasonic radars. Leveraging this hardware suite, the system supports map‑free urban NCA navigation assist, highway NCA navigation assist, Valet‑to‑Valet 3.0, campus navigation parking, cross‑floor memory‑free parking, and trace‑back reversing. It also integrates the CAS 5.0 full‑dimensional collision‑avoidance system, featuring GAEB emergency braking for irregular‑shaped obstacles and ESA emergency steering assist to further enhance driving‑safety redundancy.

Regarding powertrain and chassis, the new model carries over the existing 1.5T range‑extended hybrid system. The range extender outputs a maximum power of 110 kW. The four‑wheel‑drive variant adopts front‑and‑rear dual‑motor configuration: the front motor delivers 131 kW peak power while the rear motor delivers 200 kW peak power, bringing a combined system peak power of 331 kW and a 0‑100 km/h acceleration time of 5.9 seconds. The battery pack has a capacity of 35.07 kWh with a maximum pure‑electric range of 200 km. Matched with a 60‑liter fuel tank, the full‑fuel‑full‑electric combined range exceeds 1000 km, and 92‑octane gasoline is acceptable. The chassis features front double‑wishbone and rear five‑link independent suspensions. High‑trim trims are equipped with Magic Carpet air suspension and CDC damping, alongside dual differential locks. It achieves a maximum ground clearance of 240 mm, a wading depth of 600 mm, a 27‑degree approach angle and a 31‑degree departure angle, capable of meeting light off‑road travel requirements.
