Export China's New Flagship Plug-in Hybrid SUV: Galaxy M9 | Rokay Automotive Solutions
On September 17, Geely Galaxy officially announced the market launch of the Galaxy M9. The Galaxy M9 is a newly launched flagship SUV by Geely Galaxy, positioned as a plug-in hybrid mid-to-large-sized SUV. It features a 6-seat interior layout and is equipped across the range with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system, offering three CLTC-rated pure electric ranges: 100 km, 210 km, and 230 km.
In terms of exterior design, the Galaxy M9 adopts the latest family-style design language of Galaxy, featuring an overall closed front grille and a pulling-through light assembly. The front bumper incorporates an active air intake grille. In terms of lighting functions, the Galaxy M9 offers LED matrix headlights with ADB adaptive glare reduction and AFS adaptive steering functions.
Regarding body details, the Galaxy M9 features conventional outward-opening door handles. The rear adopts a pulling-through light assembly design, while the rear bumper retains a simulated dual-exhaust layout. Six body color options are available:Onyx Black,Heaven Isle Blue, Pine Grove Green, Cloud Mist Gray, Chasing Light Silver, and Horizon White. Dimensions: 5,205 mm (L) × 1,999 mm (W) × 1,800 mm (H), with a 3,030 mm wheelbase.
Interior-wise, the Galaxy M9's cockpit integrates a 12.66-inch embedded LCD instrument panel and a 30-inch central control screen/passenger screen combo. Thanks to its steering wheel-mounted gearshift design, the vehicle offers dual 50W wireless phone charging stations on the central console. Interior color options include Elegant Gray and Dusk Orange.
Seating configuration features a standard 2+2+2 six-seat layout. The second row includes dual independent seats with a rear configuration system offering a 9.1L cold/warm storage box (temperature range -6°C to 50°C with power retention when parked), a 17.3-inch 3K overhead screen, second-row foldable tables, ventilation/ heating/massage functions, and SVIP executive seat modes.
Configuration variations include six sub-models across three electric ranges. The 230 km variants as primary models include the Far-Reach, Smart-Navigate, and Explore editions. The Explore edition adds features like heated steering wheels, hands-free tailgates, AR HUD, third-row electric seats, and refrigerators. The top-tier 210 km 4WD Navigate Edition is the only tri-motor AWD model, adding off-road modes and exclusive configurations.
Powertrain options include a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system with either single-motor FWD (300 kW/605 Nm) or tri-motor AWD (640 kW/1,165 Nm). Battery options are 18.4 kWh (100 km range) or 41.46 kWh (230 km/210 km depending on drivetrain).
