With the publication of filing information from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) for the Xiaomi SkyNomad N70 and N90, uncamouflaged test vehicles of these two new models have recently begun appearing in multiple cities. Various real-world photos have since been leaked online by enthusiasts, giving the public a closer look at the production-ready state of these vehicles. As Xiaomi's brand-new extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) product line under the SkyNomad (澎程) sub-brand, these two models adopt a completely new design language. They are expected to be officially unveiled by the end of July, with the market launch date yet to be confirmed.

The Xiaomi SkyNomad N90 is the flagship model of the series. Its dimensions measure 5,285 × 1,998 × 1,825 mm (L × W × H) with a wheelbase of 3,080 mm. The interior offers both 5-seat and 7-seat layouts, and a衍生 derivative version equipped with a factory-installed rooftop tent — the Studio Edition — will also be available. It is powered by a 1.5T range-extender powertrain with a dual-motor configuration (210 kW front / 100 kW rear), delivering a WLTC pure-electric range of 363–370 km.

The SkyNomad N70 is slightly smaller in size and positioned as a spacious five-seater SUV. Its body dimensions are 4,960 × 1,998 × 1,765 mm with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm. It also features the 1.5T range-extender powertrain, offered in both a single-motor version (210 kW) and a dual-motor version (210 kW / 100 kW), with a WLTC pure-electric range of 265–380 km.

Xiaomi SkyNomad also released a new poster today, stating: "Up to 505 km CLTC pure-electric range across the entire lineup, with a maximum battery capacity of 76 kWh." The 505 km CLTC pure-electric range is expected to correspond to the SkyNomad N70 dual-motor variant with the large battery pack.
