Rokay Car - Discover the Leapmotor B01: Compact Electric Vehicle with Advanced Features
The Leapmotor B01 is positioned as a compact electric vehicle. It has already started pre-sales and will officially hit the market on July 24th. According to information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new model of the Leapmotor B01 is equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 100 kilowatts, matched with a 43.9-kilowatt-hour battery pack, and has a CLTC range of 430 kilometers. The Leapmotor B01, which has already started pre-sales, offers two battery pack options with capacities of 56.2 kilowatt-hours and 67.1 kilowatt-hours, with CLTC ranges of 550 kilometers and 650 kilometers respectively. It is speculated that the newly exposed model may be the entry-level version.
In terms of appearance, the Leapmotor B01 adopts a design language similar to that of the B10, with three-point light sources at the front and rear. The headlights feature a split design, and the exterior rearview mirror covers as well as the B/C pillars are all painted black. The rear of the vehicle also includes a small ducktail design. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle has a length of 4770 millimeters, a width of 1880 millimeters, and a height of 1490 millimeters, with a wheelbase of 2735 millimeters, positioning it as a compact electric vehicle.
The Leapmotor B01 will offer two sets of advanced driving assistance solutions. The high-end models are equipped with a roof-mounted lidar, side and rear cameras on the front fenders, and a rearview camera at the back. It will also be equipped with the Qualcomm 8650 advanced driving assistance chip, supporting features such as highway navigation, urban memory navigation, and parking assistance.
Inside the cabin, the Leapmotor B01 does not have physical buttons on the dashboard. It features a 14.6-inch 2.5K center console screen and an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument cluster. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P cockpit chip and matched with the Leapmotor OS 4.0 PLUS interaction system. It offers features such as a 3D dynamic desktop, smart cards, customizable Dock bar, HiCar+Carlink screen mirroring ecosystem, and integrates AI voice models, deeply integrating the Tongyi Qianwen and DeepSeek models.
The Leapmotor B01's secondary dashboard features a floating design. The upper layer is a phone placement area, offering a 50-watt wireless charging function for one side. Below it is an open storage space, with a hidden cup holder. The vehicle also has six "magic expansion holes" in front of the passenger seat, which can be used to install foldable tables, phone holders, and other accessories according to personal needs. Additionally, the front row of the vehicle supports seat heating, and the driver's seat also has a ventilation function. The rear seats of the vehicle support a 28-degree reclining angle and a 4/6 split folding.
