Recently, official images of the Geely Galaxy A7 pure electric version have been unveiled, with the new model named A7 EV, positioned as a midsize pure electric sedan. A single-motor variant of the new car has been declared, boasting a maximum power output of 160 kilowatts. It offers two battery capacity options: 49.52 kilowatt-hours and 58.05 kilowatt-hours, with corresponding MIIT-rated cruising ranges of 470 kilometers and 550 kilometers respectively. It is reported that the new model will hit the market this month.

In terms of exterior styling, the Geely Galaxy A7 EV shares essentially the same profile as the existing Galaxy A7 plug-in hybrid version. The new car is fitted with a through-type LED light strip on the front fascia, while the silver trim strips on both sides of the front bumper featured on the PHEV variant have been eliminated. The rear end is also equipped with through-type taillights, creating a cohesive look with the front of the vehicle. As for dimensions, the new car measures 4935mm in length, 1905mm in width and 1500mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2845mm.

Inside, the Geely Galaxy A7 EV adopts the same cockpit layout as the plug-in hybrid version and is equipped with the all-new Flyme Auto 2 intelligent cockpit system. Specifically, the vehicle comes with a 14.6-inch floating central control screen, a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, and a column-mounted gear shifter. The auxiliary instrument panel area is furnished with a wireless mobile phone charging pad, multi-function control buttons, a covered storage compartment, and other features.

Regarding powertrain, the previously declared Geely Galaxy A7 EV is equipped with a single-motor system delivering a maximum power of 160 kilowatts. It supports optional 49.52kWh and 58.05kWh batteries, providing MIIT-rated cruising ranges of 470 kilometers and 550 kilometers correspondingly.
