The iCAR V23 Intelligent Driving Edition has already been launched, offering three models: the 401 2WD Intelligent Driving Edition, the 550 2WD Intelligent Driving Edition, and the 501 4WD Intelligent Driving Edition. It should be noted that the 401 2WD Intelligent Driving Edition and the 501 4WD Intelligent Driving Edition were previously named the 401 2WD Advanced Intelligent Driving Edition and the 501 4WD High-end Intelligent Driving Edition, respectively.
The iCAR V23 550 2WD Intelligent Driving Edition continues to adopt the "boxy" design, featuring retro elements such as round headlights and a clamshell hood at the front, and it has introduced a new yellow paint option. At the rear, the iCAR V23 features a side-opening tailgate and a "little book bag" shaped external storage box, which is connected to the interior. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with hidden door handles, aluminum alloy side steps, blackened rims, and flared wheel arches.
In terms of dimensions, the iCAR V23 550 2WD Intelligent Driving Edition measures 4220/1915/1845 millimeters in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2735 millimeters. It offers a choice of 19-inch and 21-inch rims. The 4WD version of the iCAR V23 has an approach angle of 43 degrees, a departure angle of 41 degrees, a ground clearance of 210 millimeters, and a wading depth of 600 millimeters.
Inside the cabin, the iCAR V23 550 2WD Intelligent Driving Edition is equipped with a 15.4-inch 2.5K center console screen, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, and supports Apple CarPlay wireless connectivity. The interior also features a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a floating central armrest box, an extended storage platform, and uses a column shifter and no instrument panel design.
The iCAR V23 550 2WD Intelligent Driving Edition is equipped with the Chery Falcon Intelligent Driving 500 system, which uses a dual-chip collaboration scheme of Horizon J3 and TDA4, and includes 22 sets of sensors. It is reported that the Falcon Intelligent Driving 500 system integrates 23 combined intelligent driving functions, covering high-speed cruising, precise parking, and urban safety scenarios. In high-speed scenarios, it supports full-speed adaptive cruise control, lane change overtaking, automatic following in traffic jams, and automatic exit ramping, and is equipped with a trace reverse function.
In terms of power, the iCAR V23 continues to offer a choice between single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive. The single-motor model has a maximum power of 100 kilowatts and a peak torque of 180 newton-meters; the dual-motor model has a combined maximum power of 155 kilowatts and a peak total torque of 292 newton-meters. Meanwhile, the iCAR V23 on sale has expanded to three CLTC pure electric range versions based on different battery capacities: 401 kilometers, 501 kilometers, and 550 kilometers. The 401-kilometer version is equipped with a 59.93-kilowatt-hour CATL LFP battery pack; the 501-kilometer and 550-kilometer versions are both equipped with an 81.76-kilowatt-hour CATL ternary lithium battery pack.
