On January 8, the 2026 BYD Qin PLUS DM-i was officially launched. The new model retains its original styling design while adopting a 1.5L plug-in hybrid powertrain, with optional CLTC pure electric ranges of 128km and 210km models.
Specifically, the 2026 Qin PLUS DM-i maintains an unchanged exterior design, featuring a large-sized air intake grille at the front and a black trim strip connecting the headlamp groups. Meanwhile, the new model continues to use the through-type lamp group at the rear.
In terms of body dimensions, the 2026 Qin PLUS DM-i measures 4,780/1,837/1,515mm (L/W/H) with a wheelbase of 2,718mm, positioning it as a compact sedan. Additionally, the new model offers optional exterior color schemes including Bamboo Green, Weyang Gray, Songyan Green, Star River Beige, Ice Amber Blue, Snowfield White, and Time Gray.
For interior configuration, the 2026 Qin PLUS DM-i retains its existing layout, equipped with a flat-bottom steering wheel and a floating central touchscreen. The new model also features a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 10.1-inch central touchscreen (12.8-inch for premium models), 8.8-inch floating instrument cluster, voice control system, onboard Bluetooth, smartphone Bluetooth key, 6-speaker audio system, keyless entry, push-button start, automatic air conditioning, and rear air vents. Moreover, premium variants include the Tian Shen Eye C driving assistance system and the high-grade intelligent cockpit DiLink 100 configuration.
Regarding powertrain specifications, the 2026 Qin PLUS DM-i is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system combining a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine and a single motor. The 1.5L engine delivers a maximum power output of 74kW, while the electric motor produces 120kW. The vehicle is available with battery capacities of 15.87kWh and 25.28kWh, providing corresponding CLTC pure electric ranges of 128km and 210km respectively.
