On June 26, the Xiaomi YU7 was officially launched, Built on Xiaomi's Modena platform, the YU7 continues the design language of the Xiaomi SU7 and features an 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform. It offers three versions: the Ultra-long-range Rear-wheel Drive, the Ultra-long-range All-wheel Drive Pro, and the Ultra-long-range High-performance All-wheel Drive Max, with the highest CLTC range of 835 km.
Exterior: Continuation of Xiaomi SU7 Design Language, with a Coupe SUV Shape
The front of the Xiaomi YU7 has an overall contour that is basically consistent with the Xiaomi SU7, featuring a closed design with a body-colored decorative piece in the middle of the front bumper. The headlights of the YU7 are also similar to those of the SU7, but with significant detail changes. The upper part of the lamp group is hollowed out and embedded with air ducts, which are connected to the engine hood. Additionally, the headlights have been upgraded with 180-degree ultra-wide-angle illumination.
The body side of the YU7 features a sloping-back design, equipped with electric flush door handles, and the front and rear wheel arches, exterior rearview mirror shells, side window trim, and door edge decorations are all covered with high-gloss black material. The YU7 also comes with 19-inch rims, with optional 20-inch and 21-inch rims.
In terms of body size, the YU7 has dimensions of 4999/1996/1600 (1608) mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3000 mm, positioning it as a mid-large SUV with a 5-seat layout. Compared to the same-level Zhijie R7 and Avita 11, the YU7 has certain advantages in body length, width, and wheelbase.
For reference, the Tesla Model Y, a mid-size SUV, has dimensions of 4797/1920/1624 mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2890 mm. In comparison, the Xiaomi YU7 has advantages in all dimensions except for body height.

The official stated that the YU7 has undergone more than 40 wind resistance optimizations, with a drag coefficient of 0.245. It is reported that the car is equipped with 10 pulling-through air ducts and 19 air outlets.
It is reported that the YU7 is equipped with the NVIDIA Thor assisted driving chip, 1 lidar, 1 4D millimeter-wave radar, 11 high-definition cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars as standard, with a computing performance of 700 TOPS. The entire series is equipped with the 10 million Clips version of end-to-end assisted driving.

Interior: Embrace-type Cockpit Layout, Equipped with Xiaomi Horizon Screen Panoramic Display System
The interior of the YU7 offers four color options: pine lime (green-gray dual color), coral orange, dusk blue, and iris purple (purple-gray dual color). The overall layout is an embrace-type cockpit, similar in style to the Xiaomi SU7, with a floating center console screen. However, it has eliminated the flip-up full LCD instrument panel equipped in the SU7, replacing it with the Xiaomi Horizon Screen Panoramic Display System.
It is reported that the Xiaomi Horizon Screen Panoramic Display System consists of three Mini LED screens, which are projected onto the lower side area of the front windshield through panoramic curved projection technology. When turning, the image of the blind spot can be displayed on the Xiaomi Horizon Screen first; when assisted driving is activated, the instrument on the driver's side can switch to SR road condition information.
The YU7 features a new three-spoke steering wheel, with a flat-bottom design on both the top and bottom, and a centering mark on the top, with driving mode selection and other functions on the bottom.
Other parts of the YU7 feature a column-shift gearshift mechanism, with the gear position and range information displayed in the upper left corner of the floating center console screen. It is worth noting that the vehicle has redesigned the co-pilot console area, with a dual wireless charging station for mobile phones on the top, and the vertical cup holder layout has been changed to horizontal.
It is reported that the YU7 is equipped with the Xiaoice voice function outside the vehicle, and supports dual security verification with voiceprint and digital keys.

The YU7 features a frameless door design, and the entire series is equipped with soundproof laminated glass. In terms of seats, the vehicle offers zero-gravity seats for the driver and front passenger, with standard 135-degree electric rear seats that can be folded in a 4/6 ratio.
The YU7 has air outlets on the B-pillar, and a 6.68-inch mobile control screen in the rear of the center console, which can achieve functions such as vehicle control, navigation, and music adjustment. The vehicle also comes with a built-in refrigerator.
